Designed as an integrated unit, the Bathroom Pod is developed cohesively with all with all key stakeholders with service feeds, risers and finishes approved prior to the structure completion. Revision needs are reduced, production time is maximised and budgets are maintained.

Fixed Price

Fixed price is agreed on the specific specification and signed off drawings so all stakeholders get early cost certainty with no claims for out of sequence work that can happen with traditional methods.

Consistent Quality 

The rigorous QA/QC applied at the off-site manufacturing facility results in a product of a higher quality than what can be achieved with traditional construction methods.

Pre-tested at the factory

Pods are delivered with signed RECI certification and digital records to show that all plumbing has been tested at three different hold points in the factory. Our team will be also on site when water and power is connected to the building to ensure that the commissioning runs smoothly.

Manufacturing in a factory environment results in a significant reduction in the risk the profile of a project. Less workfaces, less resources, less cross over of trades and less movement of material all have positive benefits for the key safety KPIs which are important to all stakeholders.

Efficient

Significant programme savings are achieved by the off-site completion of the bathroom finishing works in parallel with the on-site structural works.

Less Crane Time

Significantly less crane/ hook time is required to lift a single pod as opposed to multiple lifts for all the various trades and finishes. 

Less Resources, Less Storage

In a traditional build model, bathrooms require significant attention with the need for several trades working in parallel and in sequence. 

Using Bathroom Pods means all the co-ordination is completed in a production facility reducing labour, coordination and supervision costs and storage requirements on-site.

Bathroom Pods are delivered ‘snag-free’ with all revisions and adaptations carried out off-site in our manufacturing facility.

No Work Sequence Issues

Bathroom Pod production removes several sub-contract trades from the project pipeline; reducing the need for multiple trades working in a bathroom together as would be the case in a site situation.   The amount of space and open work fronts in the factory setting allows for strict control on work sequence and adequate social distancing. 

Sustainable

As the works are carried out in a factory environment there is significantly less waste overall and in particular less waste for the client to manage at site.
