Castle Group Cycle Team on the Wild Atlantic Way

Day 1 saw 25 Castle Group Employees and 5 clients & subcontractors take on the hills of Clare. Starting at the Castle Group Head office in Parkmore in Galway the team completed a 135km tour of the stunning Burren and all its hills and villages had to offer.

Day 2 saw a reduction in numbers overall but also some fresh legs drafted in to keep the pace up. Connemara was the route today. Again starting in Parkmore traveling through the city, out through Oughterard, Maam and back along the coast road. Connemara through everything it had at the guys with loads of wind and rain. The legs were pretty stiff after 150km of a spin and pizzas at the office were well deserved.

A big thanks to Kevin Whirskey for organising the route, Lisa French for sorting the stops and the refreshments ( including a step back in time in the old nightclub in O'Sullivans in Gort). And who could forget the support van (ambulance ) driver Noel Molloy.
