Castle Modular marked the opening of its new 3,200m2 manufacturing facility in Gort, Co Galway with a visit from  Director General of the Construction Industry Federation, Tom Parlon and Joe Conway, Vice President of CIF & Business Development Manager of Dornan Engineering

Previously known as the Loughwood Joinery Factory, Castle Modular has invested heavily in the conversion of the facility to accommodate increased demand for the manufacture and production of modular solutions from the construction industry. 

Increased production capability will see the new facility deliver up to 200 bathroom pods a month and the potential to accommodate two volumetric modular projects in the same period. The new facility incorporates 4 gantry cranes, a CNC machine, shot blasting & spray booths and a motorised plasma cutter for steel.
