Castle Modular – making progress with fire testing of volumetric modular building.
The Castle Modular Team designed and factory built wall external wall comfortably passed the 90min fire test required for NSAI Accreditation. This was carried out in accordance with BS EN 1363-1:2020 & BS EN 1365-1:2012
Mark Moran the Castle Modular Factory Manager says ‘the correct selection of materials coupled with the right build quality is paramount for success in a stringent test such as this with the internal face of the wall being subjected to 1100 Degree Celsius .
